The image Philip uses to describe leaving Harvey Nash is deliberate and precise: stepping out of a golden cage. He had built real security over 17 years, and choosing to leave it behind meant giving all of that up at once. "When you jump like that, you jump into the unknown — into nothingness," he says. Ann Willemsens came from a completely different world.
