Jamtland Calling is a community-driven coworking, coliving and events platform based in Ostersund, Jamtland, designed to help startups, entrepreneurs, remote workers and creatives find a place to work, live and connect. It operates multiple hubs in downtown Ostersund including Prasten at Prastgatan 42 with 500 square metres turned into a community home base offering 36 fixed desks, 6 flex desks, five external meeting rooms and four smaller member-only meeting spaces, plus a dog friendly area; Teglet at Biblioteksgatan 9, a reconverted steelworks with three floors and 600 square metres featuring a remote work test lab with state-of-the-art screens, cameras and microphones, two externally bookable meeting rooms and six more for members, many fixed desks, eight flex desks, non-desk workspaces and options for private offices; and Rutan at Storgatan 25 with 300 square metres and two team offices seating 20 and 10 and one member-bookable meeting room. Members can book any meeting room across hubs, work from either location as flex members or choose a preferred base as fixed members, and tap into a community that encourages spontaneous conversations, virtual coffee breaks and shared learning. Beyond workspace, Jamtland Calling offers coliving and long-stay options to explore Ostersund and Jamtland for one to six months, and it curates a steady calendar of conversations, sessions, workshops and breakfast meetups that share experience on coworking, community building, social sustainability, entrepreneurship, innovation and the future of work. The team also supports external organizations as speakers, teachers, facilitators and moderators, and invites partners to co-create programs and activities that strengthen the region. For deep focus days, the small timber hut Fugelstakojan in Fugelsta, 15 km from Ostersund, gives members access to quiet nature between trail runs, skis or bike rides. Rooted in cooperation and innovation, the platform blends flexible space, learning and hospitality to help people do better business together.
