ELIXIR is a landmark neighborhood bar and event venue at 3200 16th Street in San Franciscos Mission District, recognized as the second oldest continually operating saloon location in the city with documented service dating back to at least 1858. Rebuilt in 1907 after the 1906 earthquake and fireby the same owner in the same spotthe venue displays original architects plans on its walls, showcasing a storied layout that once included a Cigar Lobby and Boot Black Stand and was later expanded in 1933.
