Operating from Amsterdam, the platform enables both sides of the market to work transparently and efficiently: clients post assignments, search and select talent, chat, hire, and manage payments, while freelancers create a rich profile, apply to relevant assignments, and build their reputation via objective performance metrics. The proprietary Ratingsysteem measures job performance after engagements of at least 80 hours, translating multi-rater (360º) feedback into an in-depth rating composed of competencies, technical skills, and personal reviews, expressed on a 1–10 scale and excluding self-assessment to reduce bias. For shorter assignments, freelancers receive a review rather than a full rating. This methodology helps address common selection pitfalls—overweighting interview performance, misidentifying critical competencies, and expectation mismatches—by focusing on observable behaviors and the skills that truly drive outcomes.
