The team collaborates closely with authorities and public services including police, psychiatry, and social services, enabling rapid, coordinated responses to complex needs. Perceptio maintains 24/7 on-call readiness to receive urgent placements when capacity allows and can arrange client pickup anywhere in Sweden. While the collective setting is delivered without in-house medical treatment, the organization coordinates a wide spectrum of external interventions as needed, including alcohol and drug counseling, LARO (medication assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence), criminal lifestyle programs, HAP (hash cessation), CBT with licensed therapists, psychotherapy for trauma, withdrawal care in partnership with regional and private providers, and neuropsychiatric assessments. Daily life is enriched through structured social activities that build routines and community, from gym training and shared meals to NADA ear acupuncture and meditation evenings. Perceptio purposefully limits the number of residents to ensure continuity, trust, and high quality one-to-one support, guided by the values of safety, responsibility, and change. Pets are welcome in apartments but not in the collective home due to allergies, and post placement housing options may be available to sustain long term independence.
