The practice originated as the proprietorship of Charles L. Conway, Sr., CPA—who received his CPA certificate in 1968 after graduating from LaSalle University—and grew from a foundation of rigorous public accounting experience at Touche Ross & Co., where he advanced to supervisor and manager and led engagements for publicly held clients in banking and financial services, aerospace, insurance, retail, distribution centers, and other industries, including work involving SEC filings and regulatory reporting. From 1975 to 1985 he also served as Chief Financial Officer for large real estate and construction corporations, overseeing financial and general operations for portfolios including office buildings, golf courses, a hotel, construction companies, leasing entities, a mortgage servicing company, and general service companies. In 2001, the firm incorporated as Conway & Associates, P.C., with Paul G. Conway, CPA—who joined in 1990—becoming president; Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from LaSalle University and a Master of Science in Taxation from Philadelphia University. Today the firm supports more than 1,000 clients, including over 800 individuals receiving tax preparation and financial planning guidance and more than 150 businesses ranging from small proprietorships to large contractors seeking dependable accounting and compliance support. The team emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and practical insight built on decades of hands-on operational finance experience, offering clients clear guidance across planning, preparation, and year‑round advisory needs.
