CareerSource Brevard Flagler Volusia is the public workforce board serving employers and job seekers across Floridas Brevard, Flagler, and Volusia counties, uniting two regional boards on July 1, 2024 to deliver a broader, more efficient network of services. Business-driven and talent-focused, the organization partners with companies to hire, train, and retain talent through customized recruitment support, Employ Florida job posting and candidate search assistance, job fairs, and referrals, while also guiding employers to incentives such as new hire tax credits, on-the-job training (OJT) reimbursements, incumbent worker training grants, and apprenticeship development. For job seekers, CareerSource BFV offers comprehensive career services including assessments, resume and interview coaching, labor market information, skills training, apprenticeships, paid work experience and internships, and pathways that support advancement from entry level to executive roles. Specialized programs serve young adults ages 1624, veterans, military families, individuals 50+, and people with disabilities through one-on-one case management and priority services. Operating through multiple career centers and talent hubs, including sites at Daytona Beach, Orange City, Palm Bay, Palm Coast, Titusville, and Patrick Space Force Base, the team aligns education and industry by collaborating with schools, colleges, and training providers to build pipelines in high-demand fields. A sector strategy prioritizes Aerospace/Aviation, Business/Professional/IT, Construction, Health Care, Hospitality, and Manufacturing/Advanced Manufacturing, helping employers meet evolving skill needs and supporting layoff aversion, retention initiatives, and assistance for laid-off employees during restructuring. In 20242025, the board reported serving 1,604 businesses, placing 2,013 individuals into jobs, supporting 2,088 veterans, and engaging 12,579 unique job seekers.
