Boost by FC Rosengard is a social impact and employability initiative based in Malmo that helps young adults, primarily ages 18 to 29 registered with Arbetsformedlingen, move toward self sufficiency through work or studies. Drawing on long standing community roots and partnerships with Arbetsformedlingen and Malmo stad, the team delivers individualized support built around the Boostmodellen, a proven approach that blends motivation building, health strengthening and practical guidance. Participants are welcomed by a personal advisor who co creates a plan aligned to their goals and selects from three integrated tracks. The Studies track offers licensed teachers, one to one tutoring, grade reviews, individual study planning, school visits, and navigation support across Komvux, folk high schools and other education pathways, including language strengthening for those improving Swedish. The Work track provides CV and cover letter optimization, interview coaching, labor market orientation, job search strategies and networking so candidates can present their skills confidently and connect with hiring employers. The Health track reinforces well being through physical training, nutrition and sleep workshops, and support to manage mental health challenges so participants can sustain momentum toward work or study. Boost also partners with employers to source suitable candidates and raises awareness about mental health, inclusion and diversity while promoting fair and skills based hiring. Year after year, the organization achieves tangible outcomes, with an estimated 200 to 300 participants moving into jobs and around 100 to 150 starting studies annually, while external evaluations have reported average satisfaction of 8 out of 10. Guided by a vision of an inclusive labor market, Boost challenges bias, nurtures individual agency, and equips participants with problem solving, initiative and future planning skills, creating shared value for individuals, employers and society.
