Its Ecological practice conducts WOTUS delineations and assessments, USACE nationwide, general, and individual permits, Section 404/10/408 support, threatened and endangered species surveys, biodiversity baselines, compensatory mitigation and restoration, NRDA, SCAT, and environmental impact assessments and statements, as well as cultural and archaeological coordination. The firm’s Water Quality specialists handle stormwater and wastewater permitting and ongoing compliance, while its Risk, Remediation, and Waste experts—spanning geologists, hydrogeologists, engineers, and toxicologists—deliver site evaluations, risk assessments, remediation planning, and waste management strategies from pre-acquisition through redevelopment. CK augments these capabilities with litigation support and Drone & GIS services that provide high-quality aerial imagery, 3D mapping, and environmental monitoring to inform construction, coastal planning, and compliance programs.
