Company Description

Founded in 2018, MAG Apprenticeships is a specialist workforce partner to the Australian construction sector, dedicated to building futures for apprentices and delivering flexible staffing solutions for employers. The company employs apprentices and trainees directly and places them with vetted host employers across civil and building projects, giving businesses a simple, compliant, and scalable way to add capability while developing the next generation of tradespeople. MAG focuses on key trades including electrical, carpentry and formwork, plumbing, civil construction, and shopfitting and joinery, and supports assignments from one week to the full duration of a project and beyond. For employers, MAG manages the end to end recruitment and employment lifecycle, including advertising, screening, skills assessment, reference checks, onboarding, payroll, insurance, and ongoing performance management, supported by OHS collaboration and regular site audits. Host employers enter clear agreements outlining obligations such as providing a safe workplace free from bullying and harassment, delivering comprehensive site introductions, offering continuous supervision, ensuring tasks match the trade, and creating opportunities to build competency. MAG coordinates training plans, registers training contracts with the relevant State Training Authority, and enrolls apprentices with RTOs and TAFE for formal off the job training. Apprentices gain secure full time employment, PPE and uniform provision, regular site visits, dedicated mentoring, and consistent feedback, with aptitude and psychometric testing and trade skills assessments used to guide matching and development. Operating nationally with a presence in Victoria and Queensland, MAG partners with construction and civil companies of all sizes and sectors, providing cost effective and low risk ways to scale crews without long term employment commitments. For candidates, structured support accelerates exposure across industrial, commercial, and residential environments, from maintenance and solar in electrical, to framing, fixing, and finishing in carpentry, to sanitary, roofing, mechanical services, drainage, and fire in plumbing, as well as plant operation and road, path, and subdivision works in civil. The result is practical learning backed by formal qualifications, improved retention, safer sites, and job ready trades on completion.

People Intelligence Recruitment Pty Ltd

People Intelligence Recruitment Pty Ltd was a boutique Australian recruitment consultancy known for its relationship-led approach and hands-on market expertise. Co-founded by Lindsey Morgan and Catherine Moores, the firm drew on more than 40 years of cumulative recruitment experience gained in Sydney, London, and other international markets, bringing a pragmatic, service-focused ethos to matching white-collar and leadership talent with organizations of varying sizes. Operating as a small, agile team, People Intelligence Recruitment emphasized transparency, diligence, and long-term fit, building trust with clients, candidates, suppliers, and recruitment partners through clear communication and attentive delivery. The company has now closed following the founders’ personal transitions, with Lindsey moving toward retirement and Catherine beginning a new career in Allied Health; this decision reflects a respectful, planned wind-down rather than a change in ownership. In announcing the closure, the firm expressed sincere gratitude to its stakeholders for making the journey meaningful and successful and provided a single point of contact for any residual inquiries. The legacy of People Intelligence Recruitment is that of a generalist, cross-industry capability typical of boutique agencies in Australia, shaped by international networks and local insight across Sydney and the broader Australian market. Its digital presence now serves primarily as a notice of closure and a conduit for communication where needed, honoring prior relationships and ensuring continuity for anyone seeking follow-up. Although operations have ceased, the firm’s track record underscores a commitment to high-touch recruitment, careful candidate assessment, and collaborative client partnerships forged over years of practice in the staffing and recruiting field.
