Company Description

iTherapy, LLC (iTherapy Speech Pathology Corporation) is a California-licensed Non-Public Agency founded in 2012 by practicing speech-language pathologists who combined a clinical practice with a technology company to solve real problems in communication and evaluation. Serving children and families across California in home, clinic, and school settings, the organization contracts with school districts, regional centers, and insurance companies and has supported more than 25,000 families with a 13-year record of zero failed commitments. Its clinical capacity is strengthened by a partnership with Liricare that provides access to a network of over 900 licensed SLPs and SLPAs, enabling scalable, compliant delivery across the continuum of care. Built and tested in day-to-day practice, iTherapys product ecosystem is validated by 11 competitive federal grants from agencies including NSF, NIH, and IES, alongside support from Microsoft AI for Accessibility, Epic Games MegaGrants, the LEGO Foundation, and AFWERX. Flagship solutions include EASI, the legally compliant AI evaluation platform that compresses reporting from five hours to approximately fifteen minutes and is launching globally with Northern Speech Services; InnerVoice, an AAC solution grounded in usage-based linguistics and video modeling; and VAST, Video-Assisted Speech Technology rooted in NIH-backed research showing that children can learn more effectively by imitating themselves. Ongoing R&D includes MySLP, a human-in-the-loop clinical reasoning assistant, and an IEP compliance platform using hash-chain audit technology. iTherapy also publishes Autism Digest and works with autistic employees and consultants from project inception, reflecting its commitment to nothing about us without us. HIPAA- and FERPA-compliant operations, rigorous peer-reviewed research, and continuous clinical feedback shape a development philosophy that keeps clinicians at the center so technology augments expertise rather than replaces judgment. The company actively hires licensed SLPs for school-based roles and SLP advisors to support product development, partnering with administrators, clinicians, families, and researchers to help clinicians work smarter and children communicate better.
