1. How much does Ferovalo charge for interim management services in Finland?
Ferovalo charges a transparent 15% markup on the interim manager's rate. No upfront fees. No retainers. You only pay when work begins.
Example: If the interim CFO's rate is €10,000/month, you pay €11,500/month (€10,000 to the talent + €1,500 to Ferovalo).
What's included: Reference checking, professionally drafted contracts, liability insurance, invoicing, payment handling, and ongoing assignment support.

2. How does pricing work for board placements?
Ferovalo has simple and transparent pricing for board placement too. Ferovalo presents candidates who have applied to your board position and whose references have been checked before the presentation. If you choose one or more candidates for an interview, we charge €1,800 + VAT.
If at least one person is elected to the board from the interviewed candidates, we send another invoice for €1,800 + VAT. In total, you pay a maximum of €3,600 + VAT, regardless of how many members from among the proposed candidates are appointed to your board.
3. How fast can Ferovalo find quality interim managers for urgent assignments?
Typically 5-8 qualified candidates within 4 days of receiving your brief.

1. How do I register as an interim manager or board professional with Ferovalo?
Registration is self-service through Best Best Talent Platform. You'll select your areas of expertise (finance, operations, board work, etc.). When relevant opportunities arise, you'll receive email alerts with the assignment brief.
There's no lengthy application process or mandatory interviews to join. If you're currently on assignment, you can stay registered and ignore alerts (or pause them) until you're looking for your next role.
2. As a member of Best Best Talent Platform, will I have a public profile?
No. We believe public profiles are ineffective for generating leads, as companies rarely have time to scan through marketplaces. Instead of maintaining a public profile, BBTP Members use a simple, anonymous profile and focus their efforts on applying for specific, desired assignments. For members who are interested in public marketing, we offer optional, curated, and more meaningful opportunities to showcase expertise through member features in blog posts, on the website, and on social media.
3. Does Ferovalo take a cut of my rate as an interim manager?
No. You keep 100% of the rate you set. Ferovalo charges clients a 15% markup on top of your rate, but that comes from the client, not from your earnings.
Example: If your rate is €1,000/day, the client pays €1,150/day. You receive €1,000/day.
4. How does pricing work for board placements?
Ferovalo presents candidates who have applied to board positions and whose references have been checked before the presentation. If the owner chooses one or more candidates for an interview, we will charge them €1,800 + VAT. If at least one person is elected to the board from the interviewed candidates, we will send another invoice for €1,800 + VAT.
In total, customers pay a maximum of €3,600 + VAT, regardless of how many members from the proposed candidates are appointed to their board.
5. Will Ferovalo call my references before I even interview with a client?
Yes. Ferovalo checks references before introducing you to clients. When you apply for an assignment, you'll provide references, and Elina will call them before presenting candidates to the customer.
This benefits you in two ways:
Clients trust that candidates have been vetted, so interviews focus on fit rather than verification
It filters out competitors who can't provide strong references
6. What happens if a client doesn't pay my invoice on time?
Ferovalo handles it. You won't need to chase late payments or have awkward money conversations with clients.
If an invoice is overdue by two days, Ferovalo contacts the client immediately. If payment issues persist, Ferovalo can pause the contract until payment is resolved. You're protected from non-payment risk.
Additional protection: All contracts include liability insurance.
7. Can I work directly with a client after my assignment through Ferovalo ends?
Yes. Ferovalo's contracts allow customers and talent to work together directly if six months have passed after the assignment has completed.
What actually happens: Many interim managers choose to stay with Ferovalo even when they're free to go direct, because they value the payment protection, contract management, and automated feedback tools.
