Company Description

REKON is a student driven career fair dedicated to the auditing and consulting industry, organized annually at the School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg. Designed as a high impact meeting place for employers and students, the fair helps leading professional services firms engage early talent and build long term hiring pipelines across audit, assurance, tax, advisory, and consulting. Each edition features an interview session program that runs both digitally and on site during the fair day, offering 20 to 30 minute conversations in which students can learn more about participating firms, ask questions, and present their interests and skills directly to recruiters and consultants. The event experience is supported by a large project committee and nine student crews that handle event build, hosting, information, sustainability, logistics, transport, PR, lunch and lounge services, and interview coordination, ensuring a seamless day for exhibitors and visitors. Exhibitors typically include global and national brands such as PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, BDO, Grant Thornton, and other specialized accounting and advisory firms, creating broad exposure to opportunities ranging from internships and trainee programs to entry level consulting and audit roles. REKON operates under HHGS policies on sustainability, equality, and safety, with zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, and drugs or alcohol, and the venue is accessible with clean drinking water available throughout the day. Located at Lilla Bergsgatan 4 in central Goteborg, the fair is easy to reach by public transport, and students are encouraged to travel sustainably. By combining a curated employer lineup with structured networking, REKON gives companies an efficient platform to meet motivated candidates while helping students convert academic achievement into meaningful professional starts in auditing and consulting.
