Their practical approach was supported by original content and tools, including a newsletter for talent leaders with thousands of subscribers and Recruiting Plan, a capacity planning tool purposebuilt for fastgrowing companies. GBDs collaborations spanned many of the most recognizable names in technology, reflecting breadth across software, product, data, and gotomarket organizations. In 2025, GBD announced that it had been acquired by Cursor, whose AIpowered developer platform is rapidly adopted by engineering teams globally; two founding partners and several team members joined Cursor to help build its talent systems and culture from the ground up, while other GBD alumni continue independently with advisory and recruiting work focused on foundational recruiting, process, and strategic guidance.
