Company Description
Care Recruitment International (CRI) is a UK-based recruitment agency that specialises in the ethical recruitment and placement of exceptional live‑in carers for private households across England and Scotland. Built around its distinctive “One Carer: One Client” model, CRI focuses on continuity and long-term relationships by matching each family with one dedicated carer, rather than rotating multiple carers. This approach is delivered in partnership with a CQC‑registered care provider (and the Care Inspectorate in Scotland), ensuring regulated oversight, consistent standards, and accountability throughout the placement. CRI’s transparent pricing starts from £963 per week, with Essential and Enhanced plans that include recruitment fees and all employment-related costs, making live-in support a cost-effective alternative to residential care, especially for clients in rural areas where traditional visit-based models can be unreliable. Carers are selected through a multi-stage “Double C” framework that evaluates both character (values, personality, soft skills) and competence (formal qualifications, experience, technical skills). All carers are pre‑approved by the Home Office to work in the UK, typically have three or more years of relevant care experience, and are screened for fluent English. Many carers originate from the Philippines and other international care traditions known for loyalty, compassion, and a strong work ethic. CRI is listed on the NHS Ethical Recruiters List and never charges carers for employment, aligning with UN and IOM best-practice standards. The service covers a broad range of non-medical and daily-living needs—personal care, companionship, medication management, cooking, housekeeping, and driving/chaperone—as well as support for conditions such as dementia, stroke recovery, brain injury, special educational needs (SEN), and general rehabilitation. Families are actively involved in carer selection to ensure a lasting personality and skills match, with a typical onboarding timeline of at least one month; short-term temporary cover can be arranged in the interim where needed.
